17.10.2018- What I Wore Today #350


As I’ve touched on in a handful of posts recently, over recent weeks I’ve been keenly rummaging through my knitwear stash and keeping my eyes peeled for some new purchases to spruce up my winter wardrobe. Whilst I’m still to reach for my winter coat (result!), I’ve more or less been living in a steady rotation of knits of late, including a much-loved new addition to my stash which is already proving to be the ultimate autumn essential:

This Arket knit is a piece which I picked up about a fortnight or so ago, and I’ve been more or less living in it ever since. The oversized, slouchy style makes it perfect for keeping cosy in, and it’s wonderfully warm too. The colour is a real winner as well, and when the time finally does come to layer up, I think it’ll look great teamed with my favourite camel coat- although I’d rather have to hang on a little bit longer before I dig it out!

29.11.2017- London Loves: Glossier's Marylebone Pop Up

Another week, another post all about Glossier! Thankfully for my bank balance, I haven't raided their online shop again just yet, but instead made it along to their temporary store in Marylebone, which appeared at 32 Portland Place for a week from 15-22 November. Much like the UK online launch, the unveiling of this pop up space was hugely hyped, and something which was well worth a peruse one lunchtime: Tucked away just behind the BBC ( W1A quoting a-plenty!), this plush townhouse offered the perfect showcase for Glossier's signature aesthetic, with walls painted in millennial pink and gorgeous velvet sofas in a trendy hue of teal offering the perfect perch. Festooned with fresh flowers, the shop and showroom space spread across two floors, complete with all of Glossier's cult favourites and newly launched debut fragrance too. 30.01.2019- On Learning To Trust Yourself

So, here we are at the end of January- we made it! For some inexplicable reason, this month seems to last about a hundred times as long as any other, but it always feels like an achievement when you get to the end- a five week marathon of early morning alarms, cold weather and a seemingly neverending wait until payday.
