Last week, I was lucky enough to be invited along to my local Luminis Beauty salon to indulge in a little spot of rest and relaxation- the perfect way to round off my recent holiday and try and recalibrate as much as possible before heading back to work. It's only in the last year or so that I've really embraced heading to a salon every few months for a treatment (usually either a facial or a deep tissue massage), but have become a real convert in quite a short space of time. I think that there's a lot to be said for taking (and indeed making) the time to look after yourself properly- an hour every once in a while to completely switch off from the outside world and relax.
